I am totally impressed with Dr. Moon. I have been an RN for 30 years, so a doctor has to be nearly perfect for me to be so impressed with them. He has a great bedside manner, he is extremely competent and confident. He explains all tests results and procedures he is going to do. He thoroughly explained my surgery and made me feel confident that I would come out of my surgery better than I went in. Other neurosurgeons told me I would most likely end up a quadriplegic even with surgery yet still pushed me to have surgery. Dr. Moon said if he didn’t think he could improve my quality of life he wouldn’t encourage me to have surgery. He did the cervical laminectomy and fusion and four days later I did not need pain meds. A few days after PT I was out of the wheelchair and able to walk! I regained total use of my left arm. I no longer need any pain meds. He gave me my life back!! He is my HERO! I would recommend him to anyone that needs an excellent neurosurgeon!!

Dr. Moon is an incredible surgeon. After living with debilitating pain due to a herniated disc and synovial cyst in my spine, I visited Dr. Moon to seek relief and hear my options. He was thorough and knowledgeable about my diagnosis and went above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns along the way. In April, he performed an ALIF and laminectomy to remove the cyst. Since then, my recovery has been amazing, even in such a short amount of time. For the first time in years, I am finally pain free. I truly feel like I have my life back again. Not only is Dr. Moon a highly skilled surgeon, but his genuine and empathetic approach provided comfort and trust to my family and I when we needed it the most. Thank you so much Dr. Moon!

I met Dr. Moon by no choice of my own when I was 39 years old, but I hit the jackpot when it comes to Neurosurgeons (and doctors in general) Dr. Moon was assigned to my case when I went to the ER with a severe headache and dizziness. Further testing revealed a brain aneurysm, and I was terrified (This was the same diagnosis that killed my mother when she was only 27 years old) This isn't a common affliction for younger people, so I wasn't optimistic about how it might go. Dr. Moon assured me I would be ok, and followed my case through pre surgery angiogram, surgical coiling with a stent, and post surgical angiogram. The results are fabulous - I can now continue living my life without additional intervention. I am forever grateful to Dr. Moon and his team for their hard work and dedication, and so thankful for the additional time I've been given.
